The 2005 Asian Senior Masters Malaysia will
be played for the first time at the Palm
Resort Golf and Country Club on the Chempaka
Course. Palm Resort has hosted many professional golf events
such as the Johnnie Walker Super Tour, Davidoff Nations Cup
and the Asian Tour School, and as one of Malaysia's premiere
golf destinations with three 18-hole championship courses,
and a plethora of other sports and recreation facilities.
The 330 room 5-star
Sofitel Palm Resort managed by ACCOR Hotels & Resorts
is also located within the Palm Resort compound, ensuring
the sterling hospitality standards expected from all ACCOR
hotels worldwide.
All three golf courses were designed by the world-renowned
Hiromasa Inagawa and are named the Allamanda,
the Cempaka and the Melati.
Each of the three 18-holes and are designed with their own
distinctive brand of challenge to cater to the increasing
sportive demand of golfers.
Ensconced within undulating terrain which is punctured by
elements of challenge in the form of water features, massive
bunkers, and encroaching trees and foliage, all three courses
are surrounded by an abundance of landscaped gardens and natural
flora, giving each and every golfer who tracks into its grounds,
an exhilarating experience which is unmatched anywhere else.
