The 5th HG Charity Golf Classic, in aid of Amputees in Indonesia, is again being held at Imperial Golf Club, Karawaci, in conjunction with the charitable fund raising efforts of the 2006 Jakarta Highland Gathering. Now in its 29th year, the Gathering has established itself both as a charitable fund-raiser and as a fun day out for the family.
The fund raising success of last year’s golf tournament added significantly to the funds raised and was especially appreciated by those working with amputees. Our, and especially their thanks to all who supported last year’s event.
Through the Gathering Committee’s contacts we are again on the lookout for new potential recipients of limbs. This year’s HG Golf Classic will be held on Wednesday 17 May with the same 4 man scramble format, a shotgun start at 12 noon, with a buffet and prizegiving to follow.
Your generous support in the form of donations in cash or prizes is greatly appreciated. Sign up as a team or an individual and plan on being there to enjoy the fun and aid a worthy cause.
